Humphrey Bogart has been dead for 54 years as of today. He passed away at the age of 57 due to throat cancer. He was an outstanding actor. My favorite film of his is The Big Sleep (1946), mainly because he's kick ass as detective Philip Marlowe. Although, I like him in all of the other movies that I've seen him in, especially when he's paired up with Bacall. Rest in Peace, Bogie!!! Thanks for the endlessly awesome movies you made!
I am an avid fan of all things classic, from the films to the stars. I'm also in love with the randomness of life and the films that exemplify this notion.

I watched Bogie in The Maltese Falcon yesterday! Boy what a great performance from him. I'm stunned of how good it was both as a film and his performance in it! Rest in peace Bogie!
Bogie was fabulous in that film! I love classic detective crime films and books. Thanks for stopping by, Joel!
