Young Frankenstein should be watched by everyone who has watched Frankenstein (1931). Frankenstein is a fantastic horror film. The problem is, it has been spoofed a lot over the years, so the joke is pretty old nowadays, which lessens its scare factor quality within the majority of today's society.
I am an avid fan of all things classic, from the films to the stars. I'm also in love with the randomness of life and the films that exemplify this notion.

That is a strange dream. Where you watching the movie while you were sleeping or just before? Anyways, thanks for the great recommendation. Anyone that says they don’t love this movie, hasn’t actually seen it. I was just telling one of my coworkers here at DISH about Young Frankenstein the other day. I was watching it in the Blockbuster @Home section of DISHOnline.com. I guess I may have laughed a little to loud because my coworker asked me what I was watching. She had never heard of the movie before, and as it turns out, she hadn’t seen any of Brooks films. I suggested she watch Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles and Space Balls for starters. I hope she enjoyed those movies at least half as much as I do.
Hi Adam, I actually hadn't been watching the movie anytime within the time range of having this dream. I tend to have very strange dreams. I think it's from my allergy medicine. I had a strange dream about a cat dressed up in an aluminum astronaut suit. It was ridiculous and I don't know why I would dream of something like that.
Young Frankenstein is great. I feel like watching it again right now!
I usually end up watching this film a couple times a year and never tire of the humor. It's a keeper. :)
By the way, added you to my blog roll.
Hi Robert! I love when a movie is so great that it can be watched over and over again without it losing something. Some comedies eventually lose their humor, but Young Frankenstein never will. It's too witty.
Thanks for adding me to your blog roll! :)
